Dj Mimi – Arquivo 01

Some music belongs to no particular time. It simply waits to be discovered again.

Perpetuo’s first edition, Arquivo 1, brings together three tracks from Mimi’s Puzzle catalogue, originally released in Brazil in the early 2000s in very limited quantities. Born from the dedication of independent producers, these records carry the spirit of a time when music was made out of pure conviction.

This collection holds a beautiful contrast: Flick is deep and enigmatic, drawing you into its own world. Sensibilidade, presented in its original form and through a remix, is full of light, its delicate brilliance reaching beyond the dancefloor and filling the soul with warmth.

With Arquivo 1, Perpetuo brings these long-unheard sounds back to vinyl, opening the door for a new generation of listeners to discover them.

Because some records never really grow old. They simply wait for the right moment to be heard again.
