CANICA are a Spanish synth-pop duo based in London. Founded in 2021 in an industrial estate at the edge of the megacity, their futuristic sound combines elation with disillusion, the robotic with the visceral: a looking back to the past to gather speed and be launched to outer space.

Inspired by the sonic landscape of the 80s and ‘La Movida’ from Madrid, CANICA make their own way, using a precise, electronic and contemporary production style to inject techno influences into fun pop songs of an infectious energy, with catchy melodies and lyrics that tell absurd stories, full of unforgettable characters.
